Fremont Street Rave Experience - The video
I was in Las Vegas a bit over a week ago and I headed to Downtown to see what the atmosphere was like. I’m not the main LasVegaslogue writer and I hadn’t been in the city in about 5 years so I specifically wanted to see what they’d done when they refurbished the Fremont Street Experience. After they covered Fremont Street in 1994 they added a sound and light show that runs hourly each evening, and I’d read that in 2004 they greatly improved it.

NASCAR Gets Set To Roll Into Vegas
Hear that rumble of engines? It’s only going to get louder this weekend when NASCAR comes to town for its annual event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS).
Qualifying for the UAW-Dodge 400 is Friday, February 29. Then Saturday, March 1, the Sam’s Town 300 will be run with ESPN2 airing the event live at starting at 1:30pm, local time. The big race, the 11th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series UAW-Dodge 400, will be aired live by the Fox Network starting at 1:30pm on Sunday, March 2nd.
Vegas’ own Robin Leach is scheduled to emcee the big event, with the National Anthem …

NASCAR Events Around Las Vegas
This is a big NASCAR weekend in Las Vegas, but the events aren’t just happening on the track. Various other points around Las Vegas will play home to race-related activities.
