Over last week’s holiday weekend, Australian company PBL (Publishing and Broadcasting, Ltd) announced they have struck an agreement with U.S. companies IDM Properties and York Capital Management to build a new luxury casino resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

PBL states the resort, to be named Crown Las Vegas, will be located next to the site where the Fontainebleau casino resort is being built, just north of the Riviera.

PBL also owns a 20 percent stake in the Fontainebleau project.

The company said final details of the design and development of the new casino resort are still being worked on, so no opening date has been set at this time.
