The Mt. Charleston Hotel, Event and Conference Center is located 30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas. After a year of upgrades and renovations under new owners, the hotel is again welcoming visitors to enjoy the scenic views and fresh air of the Toiyabe National Forest. New additions to the hotel include an outdoor patio, duck pond, year-round ice rink and fire pit. Upgraded rooms feature fireplaces, flat screen televisions, DVD players, hooks-ups for video game systems, featherbeds, balconies (in select rooms) and views of the surrounding mountains. Amenities at the hotel include a Bistro, Steakhouse and Lounge, as well as spa services and discounted ski packages at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort.
The hotel is currently advertising special packages for Valentine’s Day beginning at $275 for a candlelit dinner including champagne and live music, followed by a romantic evening in a deluxe room. Beginning March 14, the hotel will feature deluxe room discounts and beer/food specials during all March Madness NCAA tournament basketball games.
