Planet Hollywood Transformation To Be Finished By FallIn a recent statement, Planet Hollywood exec Robert Earl said that while progress may be slow in changing the Aladdin into a Planet Hollywood-themed resort, his company plans for the transformation to be completed by October of this year.

The dome that sits above the Aladdin sign was removed last Thursday and by the time the renovations are done, the desert-stone facade will be completely gone. In its place will be a 700-foot long “Times Square”-like video screen wall consisting of light-emitting diode screens that will glow, change colors and even show images.

While construction on the front blocks the main entrance, a new temporary entrance has been opened on the property’s northern end for guests to use.
