Hello, Egypt! You’ll know it’s the Luxor when you see the big glass pyramid with the gigantic Sphinx out front. You can’t miss it at night, either. Just look for the big white beam of light shooting straight up into space from the Strip. And yes, you can even see the beam from outer space, so they say. The Luxor has 4,000 rooms and is 13 acres worth of black glass. It is a 36-story pyramid with elevators that travel on the 39-degree incline of the pyramid.
The Luxor is home to the Blue Man Group, popular Ra nightclub, King Tut’s Museum, and the first IMAX theatre in Las Vegas. The kids won’t want to miss out on the Passport to Adventure in the Pharoah’s Pavillion.
