Thousands of people flock to Sin City on a weekly basis for both work and play. While many arrive to try their luck in the casinos, others arrive to attend conventions or large entertainment events. David Copperfield Under Investigation By FBI
In a breaking news story, FBI agents raided David Copperfield’s magic warehouse here in Las Vegas last night (Thursday, October 18th). They seized nearly $2 million in cash, along with computers, hard drives, recordable media and a digital camera.
The raid occurred just hours after Copperfield had ended a sixteen day run of performances at the MGM Grand. The items were apparently taken by the FBI as possible evidence in a recent sexual misconduct charge that has been filed against the magician.

Ticketmaster says they will be auctioning off “premium” seats to the final shows of Celine Dion at Caesars Palace. The auctions will begin online November 5th and the proceeds will not be going to charity, just to Ticketmaster. O.J. Simpson Suspect in Palace Station Break-In
As if the saga of O.J. Simpson couldn’t get any stranger, today he was named a suspect in a confrontation that occurred at the Palace Station, just off the Strip.
Late yesterday, a break-in was reported at the casino. When the police arrived, they determined the incident involved sports collectibles and O.J. Simpson himself.

Ways to Get Into the Las Vegas Christmas Spirit
Christmas in the desert isn’t easy to imagine. But, this being Las Vegas, all things are possible, and the Christmas spirit is alive and well…just waiting for you to discover at these places around town.

The Bellagio’s Conservatory has set-up their holiday display and it is all about a Winter Wonderland. The centerpiece is a 49-foot holiday tree topped with an 8-foot mirrored star, while other displays feature topiaries depicting Emperor penguins, icebergs, polar bears and more. The exhibit is free for all visitors to the resort and will be in place until January 5, 2008.

Paris Fountain Turns Blood Red for Dexter
If you passed by the Paris Las Vegas resort last Thursday and thought one of the fountains looked odd, you weren’t mistaken. If you took a closer look and realized the water was running blood red, your eyes were not playing tricks on you.

OJ Simpson Released on Bond
The saga of OJ just keeps going. A judge on Wednesday set bail at $125,000 for the former sports star, in connection with charges of kidnapping and armed robbery of two sports memorabilia ealers.
Simpson, 60, is charged with ten felonies and one gross midemeanor from the incident that occurred last Thursday at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino, just off The Strip. Three other men have been charged with 10 of the same 11 charges.
As part of the bail deal, Simpson posted the required 15 percent (about $19,000) and surrendered his passport. He cannot leave the country, …

Southwest Airlines Tries to Play Fashion Police
Carrie, over at our sister site Business Travel Logue, blogged this week about the current controversy involving Southwest Airlines dress code. The airline decided to play fashion police with passenger Kyla Ebbert, and it turns out she’s far from the only one.
