In years past, visitors to the downtown area mostly stuck to the area of Fremont Street where you’ll find classic Vegas casinos like the Four Queens and The Plaza. But things are starting to change.

The Hollywood Reporter says that actress Cameron Diaz will be getting married to actor Ashton Kutchner in Vegas. Wait…isn’t he already married to Demi Moore? Yes he is, but this other marriage will only be for the upcoming film “What Happens in Vegas…” where the two play strangers who discover they have accidentally gotten married following a night of too much partying after one wins a jackpot on the other’s quarter. Gunman Opens Fire at Caesars Palace
For the second time in less than a month, a Strip casino has been rocked by an early morning shooting. This time, the location was Caesars Palace.
Around 4am yesterday (Saturday, Aug 4), a group of four men got into an argument with another group of men, which escalated into a physical fight. One of the men left the scene after being knocked down and returned with a gun.
