Reunited Cheech & Chong to Perform at The Pearl
If there was a comedy duo that epitomized the 70s, its the legendary Cheech and Chong. Their free-spirited, and weed-influenced, humor captured the attitude of the times, and they released nine albums between 1972 and 1985. These albums rocketed to the top of the charts and garnered them four Grammys.
They then took their act onto the big screen, starring in eight films, beginning with Up In Smoke in 1978, and going on to other classics such as Nice Dreams and Still Smokin’. These cemented them a huge cult following.

Caesars Palace to Host Comedy Festival This Week
The caliber of entertainment at Caesars Palace is normally top notch, but this week, the bar gets raised when the resort plays host to the third annual Comedy Festival.
The event runs Wednesday, November 14th through Saturday, November 17th, and is highlighted by both back-to-back Colosseum shows from Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock, as well as a headlining show by Ellen DeGeneres. Save $10 on Bill Maher Tickets This Weekend
Political satirist Bill Maher will be returning to Vegas for two shows this weekend, May 4 and 5, at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. Normally, tickets for his show are $42.50 and $54.50, but through a special deal with Ticketmaster, you can save $10 off the price of each ticket.

Jay Leno To Dedicate Shows To Flood Victims
NBC late night host and regular Vegas performer Jay Leno has decided to dedicate two of his upcoming shows at The Mirage to charity.
The proceeds from his 10pm shows on Wednesday, June 25th and Friday, June 27th will be donated to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation (GCRCF) to help with the relief efforts of the flooded city.
“We are extremely grateful for Mr. Leno’s support of our community,” said Dan Baldwin, president and CEO of the GCRCF, in a press release about the generous gesture. …

America’s Got Talent Winner To Play Las Vegas Hilton
This last Tuesday, the second season of the hit television show “America’s Got Talent” came to a close as the nation voted ventriloquist Terry Fator the top winner.
