Political comedian Bill Maher is taking a short break from the rigors of filming his hit HBO series “Real Time with Bill Maher” to do a little stand-up in Las Vegas this spring. Maher is booked for six late-night shows at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, two each in April, May and June.

In the wake of last week’s announcement about the sale of the Sahara, many have been wondering what, if any, changes will occur. This speculation has extended to the hotel’s regular entertainment acts, including family act The Scintas, who moved their show from The Rio to the Sahara only last year.
