944 Vegas To Celebrate Second Anniversary at the Hard Rock Hotel
Last year 944 Magazine celebrated their anniversary with a multi-venue blow-out at the Palms. This year, the publication takes their party over to the Hard Rock Hotel for another three-day, multi-venue shindig that they claim will top last year’s event.
From Friday, June 29th, until Sunday, July 1st, the party will utilize many of the hotel’s best venues, including Body English, the pool area, the Lounge and Simon Kitchen. I’ve even heard rumors of an actual ferris wheel being set up in the parking lot.
So what do they have lined up for partygoers? Let’s just say they really covered the bases with their entertainment lineup. Here’s a day-by-day look at the festivities:

6pm - Jägermeister Rock Stage featuring Indulge, Feed the Kitty, Divided by Eli and Lips Like Morphine in the hotel parking lot.

10pm - Paul Oakenfold spins at Body English for “Indulge Fridays.”

Beauty and The Geek is coming to Bare at the Mirage
Casting directors from the hit reality show “Beauty and The Geek” are holding an open casting call at the new daytime Vegas hotspot, Bare pool at the Mirage this weekend and they’re looking for both beautiful women and “geeky” men to audition.

Akon To Open Rehab 2007
We’re mere weeks away from the season opener of the ultra-popular Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel pool. Sun, fun, celebrities, drinks, a dj…could it get any hotter? Yes, it can. According to The Circuit, Jack Lafleur, director of promotions at the Hard Rock and co-star of the reality TV series Paradise City, let slip this week that they have a special guest artist booked for the opener.
Grammy-award nominated R&B artist Akon will be performing on April 29, to kick off Rehab 2007. With hits like “Smack That” and “I Wanna Love You,” as well as guest appearances on tracks like Gwen Stefani’s “The Sweet Escape,” Akon is no stranger to the top of the charts and this show will be a warm-up for his upcoming summer tour.

Infamous Playboy Party to Descend Upon The Palms
The Palms Pool & Bungalows is normally a hot spot on the weekends. But this Saturday, August 18th, the bar will be raised even higher when A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes over.

Summer of Love Rolls Into the Palms
Memorial Day Weekend is one of the biggest excuses to party in Vegas, and this upcoming weekend, the Palms is turning into one big house party.
Spanning three days and five venues - Moon, Playboy Club, Ghostbar, Rain and the Palms Pool and Bungalows - the entire hotel is going to come alive with the sound of non-stop DJs spinning the hottest club sounds.
The event, dubbed “Summer of Love,” starts out in the Palms Fantasy Tower on Friday, May 25. Starting at 10pm, both Moon Nightclub and the Playboy Club will simultaneously host an all night schedule of DJs. Felix Da Housecat, Donald Glaude, Funkler and Beej will set up shop at Moon, while Danny Love and 4 Real will spin at the Playboy Club.
On Saturday, the party will shift to both Rain Nightclub and the Palms Pool and Bungalows, starting at 10pm. Eddie Halliwell, Charles Feelgood, Beej and Adam Rush will helm the turntables at Rain, while CB Shaw, Danny Love, 4 Real and DJ P will spin poolside.

Rock ‘n Roll Wine Reggae Party at The Golden Nugget
It’s time for the monthly Rock ‘n Roll Wine party and this time, they’re taking it to the new $30 million pool at the Golden Nugget downtown.
This Friday, April 27, Rock ‘n Roll Wine will be featuring about 15 wineries around the pool area, allowing guests to stroll and sample as they take in the three level pool area that features a centerpiece $15 million shark tank.

Bare Pool Opens at The Mirage
The Light Group has already helped to elevate the Vegas nightlife and restaurant sectors…now they’re turning their attention to the water. The Mirage pool area, to be exact.
Bare at The Mirage is a European-style pool lounge (meaning guests can go topless) comprising two dipping pools surrounded by poolside chaise lounges. Also available for rental are private daybeds where guests can receive bottle and pitcher service (for pre-mixed drinks like mojitos and bloody marys).
