Mob man turned hotelier, Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel, named his $6 million dollar treasure after his girlfriend, Virginia Hill, who was a long legged red head. Sadly, it rained the day of the grand opening and lots of the Hollywood guestlist didn’t show. The Miami-themed resort didn’t catch on inthe coming weeks, and Bugsy was murdered in Beverly Hills six months later.
