Frank Sinatra and the legendary “Rat Pack,” including Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford debuted their “Summit” performance at the Sands. During the day, they filmed the casino heist movie Ocean’s Eleven, directed by Lewis Milestone. It was their most famous movie, as was their show one of the hottest tickets in Vegas history.
