1984 - The Falling of the Sign

To the protest of Vegas nostalgia lovers, Steve Wynn took down one of Vegas’s most revered neon signs - The Golden Nugget. This towering sign was the most photographed sign in Vegas during the 60s and 70s, but it went as a part of the renovations to make the Golden Nugget downtown’s most lavish casino.
