Joe Hachem is a name you will hear a lot of for the next year. Joe is about to live everyman’s dream, as he won the 2005 WSOP Main Event, and the top prize of 7.5 million dollars, easily the largest prize ever given for any competitive event. A staggering 5,619 players put up $10,000 to enter the main event, creating an unbelievable 56 million dollar prize pool. This tournament was marathon of poker, as Joe played seven full days, and over 100 hours of poker to capture his crown. At the end, Melbourne, Australia’s Hachem was the last man standing after a grueling test of mental and physical endurance. Congrats, Joe, enjoy the next twelve months!

Since you are a Sean Keener, do you by any chance know a poker player named George Keener–an older man who is retired. I saw him listed on the Poker Stars Arbuba List. If so I would really like to reach him-I think he is my long lost brother. thanks. g
