Johnny Chan, took the lead (albeit only for a few hours) over Doyle Brunson for the most bracelets won all time at the WSOP by winning his tenth bracelet in event # 25 - $2,500 buy in Pot Limit Hold Em. Considered by many one of the top two or three players of all time, Chan took his tenth down in style by beating top pro Phil ‘Unabomber’ Laak when it got down to two players. Chan was immortalized in the movie ‘Rounders’, and now has $303,025 more dollars to buy himself whatever he wants.
