The upcoming date of July 7, 2007 is being touted as a very lucky day, as it breaks down numerically at 7/7/07. And who wouldn’t want to get married on a lucky day, right?
Mandalay Bay is betting many will want to get hitched on that date, so they’ve put together a special package, the “777 Beach Extravaganza.” For $1777, each couple gets a ceremony with an officiate on Mandalay Bay Beach, flowered leis for the couple, a 5″x7″ photo of the ceremony, a champagne toast, and a “777″ souvenir gift bag.
The package also includes admission for two guests to the wedding and the catered group reception with complimentary bar and entertainment from KC and the Sunshine Band. Each additional guest is an extra $225.
From the way it sounds, I think it’s going to be separate ceremonies for each couple, with one huge reception for all the wedding parties after.

Mandalay Bay is really cool. My brother was married there last year and it was a blast. They really give it a tropical feel and make sure all the families are taken care of as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these packages. Can’t wait till its time for me to get married.
