Getting Married in Las Vegas

More than 100,000 people get married in Las Vegas every year. What’s the draw? No blood tests! Actually, the fact that you don’t have to wait is a pretty good one. And it’s cheap cheap cheap. Just get your marriage license ($55 cash only), and have someone perform the ceremony within the year. If you’re a resident of another country you’ll have to fill out extra paperwork and there will be $30 in additional fees. Divorcees getting married must make sure that their divorces are final and know the date of the final decree and city and state where it was granted.

**Jen’s Vegas Travel Tip**
Getting married on holidays such as Valentine’s Day or New Year’s might not end up as romantic as you’d hope. These are extremely popular, high traffic dates. This means higher prices for flights, hotels, and hours long lines at the chapel. Book a year in advance if you insist.
