Tipping

Many of the service workers in Las Vegas rely on tips to augment their minimum wage salaries. Here is a rough guide on expected gratuities.

Cocktail servers: $1-$2 per drink
Slot people and Keno runners: $1-$2
Taxi drivers: 15% of the fare
Restaurant waiters: 15-20%
Bell hops: $1 per bag
Concierge: 10%-20% of the cost of a ticket if they get you into a hot show
Ushers: $5-20 if they get you better seats for a performance
Dealers and Croupiers: a bet for them alongside yours if you’re winning or just placed on the table at the end of their 20-30 minute shift is par for the course.
