OKT.jpgOktoberfest in the desert? That’s right! Las Vegas would never miss out on a party. This Bavarian tradition dates back to 1810. It was originally a five day wedding celebration for Bavarian Crowne Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese von Saxony-Hildburghausen. Most of us think of Oktoberfest as a celebration of the beer. But, believe it or not, Vegas is home to 30,000 - 40,000 Germans and Americans of direct German descent.
