Tears for Fears have reunited after nearly 20 years apart. The power
pop duo of Roland Orzibal, and Curt Smith were a team that spawned
such hits as “Shout” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” back in
the 1980’s, bring their ‘wet look’ Hair Gel, and their keyboards to
the Mandalay Bay Concert Series at the Beach. Basically an outdoor
beach party, the Beach has hosted such acts as Hall & Oates, and the
Go Go’s.
When: Saturday, July 16th, 2005
Time: 9:00 p.m.
Cost: Tickets are $44.00 in advance, and $49.50 day of the show

We are regular Mandalay Bay Beach concert goers and wanted to let you know that we were very disappointed in the Tears for Fears concert held July 16, 2005. We had brought some friends along and were looking for a good evening of music but it turned out to be a big disappointment. The sound mix was terrible, the concert was a let down. Surprised that there was no pre sound supervision/testing before the concert. It was a big embarassment - I know that Mandalay Bay has its high standards and hopefully this will not reoccur in future upcoming concerts.
