New Vegas-centric Trailer for Resident Evil 3 Online

Vegas in Resident Evil: ExtinctionEver wonder what a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas would look like? Then you’ll want to check out the new movie trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction.

The third installment in the popular action-horror franchise finds Alice (Milla Jovovich) hiding in the Nevada desert. She once again joins forces with others on the run to try to eliminate the deadly virus that was unleashed by the Umbrella Corporation.

In this new trailer, many of the action sequences take place in and around a futuristic version of the Las Vegas Strip…one where many of our beloved icons are buried under dunes of sand and left abandoned. But hey, at least the traffic’s not as bad.

You can view the trailer online at Yahoo! Movies, in both Windows and Quicktime formats.

What I dont get is how there being zombies would cause Vegas to be covered in sand. Its like if Bird flu breaks out Manhattan will end up getting submersed in water. Ill go watch it anyway to see how they portray the city.
