When a slot machine is “Cold,” it means that it has not been paying out. When a player is running cold, it means they’re on a losing streak. You might also hear someone say that a table has been cold. When talking about a craps table, they might say it’s been “cold and choppy.” This means that the “7″ has been coming up a lot.
