In a craps game, the “Pass Line Bet” is the basic betting area directly in front of each player. A bet on the pass line means that you are for the shooter to roll the “point number” before a seven comes up. The pass line bet is at risk on the come out roll if a 2, 3, or 12 is hit. But your pass line bet wins even money if a 7 or 11 is made before the point. Once the point is made, you can put odds on your pass line bet to win even more money when the number is made before the next 7 comes up. Making a “Don’t Pass” bet is the opposite of a Pass Line Bet. You are essentially betting that the 7 will come up before the point. All wins and losses work in opposition of the Pass Line wins and losses, so you would win even money if a 2,3, or 12 is made on the come out roll.
