Craps Lingo: “Shooter”

In a craps game, the “Shooter” is the person throwing the dice. After the shooter seven outs, then the next shooter will have his/her turn. It follows in a clockwise rotation. You might see the players at the table get excited if the next shooter is a woman. These superstitious ones believe that Lady Luck can actually be found in a woman rolling the dice. Also be prepared for a chill in the air if you bet on the “Don’t.” In this situation you are betting against the shooter.
