A new Court TV reality show premieres this week, staring Las Vegas criminal defense lawyer James “Bucky” Buchanan. Las Vegas Law will feature this well-known Vegas lawyer assisting troubled tourists, murder suspects and other Sin City folks seeking counsel. A Pittsburgh native who graduated from the the Naval Academy in 1958, Buchanan has developed “…a practice as gargantuan as his personality…” in his four decades as a Las Vegas lawyer, making as many as 5,000 court appearances per year. Lighthearted Entertainment, the company behind the ABC hit “Extreme Makeover,” produced the six segments that have been taped so far.
