Fright Dome Descends Upon Circus Circus

It’s October, so it’s time to get into the Halloween spirit. But why just visit a haunted house, when you can visit a haunted theme park? That’s the idea behind the annual Fright Dome event that takes place at Circus Circus.

Fright Dome Descends Upon Circus CircusRanked the “4th Scariest Haunted Attraction in the U.S.” by AOL, Fright Dome takes place on selected nights inside the resort’s Adventuredome. This year, event organizers are upping the scare quotient by adding new thrills and chills.

Fright Dome offers an eerie, fog-shrouded landscape featuring five enhanced haunted houses, including the all new “Cell Block 13″ house, along with scare zones and the usual Adventuredome rides. There will also be freak shows by artists such as Lizardman, who has had his entire body tattooed with reptilian scales and his tongue surgically forked like a lizard’s, as well as Lady Diabla, who is known for driving four inch nails into her head and swallowing swords.

But the biggest fright may just drop in on you…literally. New for this year are the Drop Demons, acrobats who will drop from the ceiling at random to frighten those who dare to enter. Ok, I can do haunted houses, but the Drop Demons would definitely spook me.

“Circus Circus has given us the go ahead to make it as scary as we absolutely can. We have never added so many attractions in a single year; people are going to see things this year that will blow their minds,” commented Jason Egan, owner and creator of Fright Dome, of the new additions. “We’re going to the extreme by adding Drop Demons and this year we’re aiming to make Fright Dome the #1 Halloween Attraction in the country.”

Fright Dome starts tomorrow, October 5th, and runs Thursdays through Sundays this month plus the week leading up to Halloween, October 31st. Each of these nights, hours are 7pm until midnight.

Tickets are $32.95 for a single-night ticket, or $44.95 for a single-night express pass, and can be purchased online at frightdome.com.

This was definitely the scariest and best haunted house in Nevada. I’ve been to all the others and every single freakling brothers haunted house and they don’t even compare. I don’t find the point in paying money to walk through some cheaply done haunted houses that are in trailers. The fright dome had me scared and up against the walls at a few points. The make up and actors were amazing. Whenever I thought I was safe here came another scare. The sideshow trio rocks and I’m definitely going a few more times

The Fright Dome is Pretty good, but if you want the real Halloween experience in Las Vegas, you have got to go to BONNIE SCREAMS HAUNTED GHOST TOWN in Red Rock Canyon. It is over 100 acres, and away from the bright city lights. It is located in a REAL GHOST TOWN!
Full carnival, haunted train ride, haunted trails, haunted houses, haunted shows & more! Way beyond trailers, domes or any othe Las Vegas haunted house.
This is HUGE! Las Vegas’ largest haunted event ever!
Here is the website:

You can not miss this!

Yeah, I saw them setting up when I went with my sister & her kids last week.
Huge is an understatement. This Halloween should be a lot of fun.
I looked on their other website and noticed their ticket prices were way less than Fright Dome.I might be able to afford to let my 3 kids go to this one! Almost 1/2 of fright dome with their coupon, besides I have already been there & it was just ok for me.
The Bonnie Springs Ranch where they are holding the event is 1/2 the size of the entire Las Vegas strip. Gives you an idea of the size of their haunt.
I think I’ll try Red rock canyon for Halloween this year!

I’m with you! I did that dome thing last year. All my kid did was cry! They don’t really have anything for kids under 18. I think the Bonnie Screams thing will be way cool. I’ve never been there! I did not know Las Vegas had a real ghost town??
Maybe i’ll see you there? I’m going during their music festival. Maybe to their costume ball on Halloween too.

I’m a die hard dome fan! I will go again this season, but I think I will go to the bonnie screams haunt first.Something different from the norm. It looks like it will be cool.

I can’t wait for Fright Dome. I love these guys that say they are setting world record holders. They are funny. 100’s of acres of terror. Please. Where do they come from. I am sure Bonnie Springs will be as stupid as Monster Mayhem. I am so sick of wasting my money on junk. At least I get my moneys worth at Frigt Dome. FRIGHT DOME ROCKS AND GIVE YOU RIDES, HAUNTED HOUSES, SHOWS, A CREEPY ATMOSPHERE AND MORE. I CANT WAIT!

i have to say, ive never been to either of the attractions on halloween. however, the adventure dome is just fun because of the rides, and worth the price for an extra fun thing to do on halloween… plus its safe. bonnie springs on the other hand is just creepy period, even on regular non-halloween days. so i assume that if you’re looking for an authentic creepy feel, then bonnie springs is the way to go. if you just want to have some fun and show off your 29.00 dollar pimp costume, then the fright dome should be your choice.
