The night before the super fight between De La Hoya and Mayweather, the boxing ring gets a good workout when the MGM Grand hosts the “Fiesta Boxeo” card on May 4.
The highlight of the evening will be the WBO championship bout between Hugo Cazares who will defend his Flyweight belt against Wilfrido Valdez Perez. Cazares currently has a 24-3-1 record with 18 KOs while Perez is right behind with a 23-1-3 record and 16 KOs.
Tickets are priced at $125, $75 and $25 for the event, which will be held in the resort’s Grand Ballroom at the conference center. Tickets are available for purchase at the MGM Grand box office or via Ticketmaster.
The event will also air live on Telefutura’s “Solo Boxeo” show beginning at 5pm PST.
