Marquez vs. Juarez Las VegasThis weekend’s boxing match between Marquez and Juarez at the MGM Grand has been cancelled due to injury.

WBC super featherweight champ Juan Manuel Marquez (47-3-1 with 35 KOs record) experienced an injury while training for his title belt match against Rocky Juarez (27-3 and 19 KOs). He cut his right hand and it has since become infected and badly swollen, making it necessary for the match to be canceled.

Without the headliners, the rest of the card, which was to take place this Saturday, September 15th, has also been canceled.

If you bought a ticket to this match, refunds are available at the point of purchase. If you’re planning to come to town anyways, make sure to check our daily Vegas Calendar section for alternative things to do.
