Political comedian Bill Maher is taking a short break from the rigors of filming his hit HBO series “Real Time with Bill Maher” to do a little stand-up in Las Vegas this spring. Maher is booked for six late-night shows at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, two each in April, May and June.
His first show is on April 20th at 11:30pm and he returns the following night at 11pm. His May shows are on the 4th at 11:30pm and 5th at 11pm. He then returns on June 15th at 11:30pm and 16th at 11pm.
Tickets for each show are priced at $42.50, $54.50 and $74.50. Due to the nature of his material, Maher’s shows are 18 and over.
And no, the irony of self-professed marijuana advocate Maher playing The Joint on 4/20 is not lost on me.
