30secondstomars.jpgBrothers Jared and Shannon Leto formed alt-rock band 30 Seconds To Mars because of their shared love of music. And if Jared’s name sounds familiar, it’s because music shares a space in his life with a successful acting career that includes the films Alexander and Fight Club, as well as the cult hit TV series “My So-Called Life.”

On the first self-titled album, the two siblings played most of the instruments, then went about hiring other musicians for touring. For their newest release, A Beautiful Lie, the touring band has become just “the band” and that band is winding down their current tour with a stop at the House of Blues on April 21.

Opening this early low-dough all ages show will be four other bands — Seattle “horror rock” band Aiden, as well as indie-rockers Emanuel, Keating and Vegas’ own Away Station.
