It’s been over a year, and popstar Ashlee Simpson is still haunted by her lip-syncing fiasco on “Saturday Night Live.” The singer has somewhat redeemed herself by appearing on the show a second time last season and actually singing live. She’s also put out a sophomore cd, I Am, which has spawned major radio hits like “Boyfriend” and “L.O.V.E.”
Simpson is currently on tour, proving she can do it live, and will roll into the House of Blues on June 10. In tow will be openers Ashley Angel Parker (former member of the pop group O-Town and recent participant on NBC’s “Celebrity Cooking Showdown”) and Australia’s pop-rock sister duo The Veronicas, whose current hit “When It All Falls Apart” is one of my faves.
