As one of the guitarists for the rock band Tesla, Frank Hannon rode a wave of successful singles through the late 80s and early 90s that included “Modern Day Cowboy,” “Little Suzi,” “Love Song,” “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Signs.”
Hannon continues to be an integral part of the band, but he was feeling the need to stretch his musical wings a bit. The result is Hannon’s new cd, Guitarz From Marz, a mixture of hard rock and funk-rock originals. The cd also marks his debut on lead vocals.
On a break from touring with Tesla, Hannon makes a stop in Vegas on April 7 at the Tailspin Bar & Grill, located east of the airport. His set list will probably draw upon his new cd, as well as Tesla and past side projects such as Moon Dog Mane. Rock on!
