Christian Kane of the band Kane [photo: Kane]Outlaw country act Kane is heading to Vegas to play a special charity show in April, called “Cause for Paws.” All proceeds will go to the Las Vegas Animal Foundation, which benefits the no-kill Lied Animal Shelter. The shelter does not put down any animal because of lack of space or time, and this concert will help their operating expenses.

Kane is fronted by actor Christian Kane, who is currently appearing on the hit CBS show “Close To Home.” He has also had featured roles in Joss Whedon’s series “Angel” and Steven Spielberg’s mini-series “Into the West,” as well as a slew of films. But make no mistake, he takes his music very seriously, and the band was voted one of L.A.’s 100 Hottest Unsigned Bands by industry magazine Music Connection. Kane has also recently completed a few music showcases in Nashville and received serious interest by several labels. You can hear samples of Kane’s music at their MySpace page.

Tickets for the event are extremely limited and will include a meet and greet with Christian and his bandmate Steve Carlson. Great music, hot men and a good cause — you just can’t go wrong with attending this show.

When: April 23, 2006
Where: Wine Cellar
Time: 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $75.00 (includes meet and greet with band)
