Dining beyond the Strip # 1 — Cozymel’s

Las Vegas is more than just The Strip. Remember, over a million people live here, and they have to eat somewhere. So, if you are tired of the neon and need a distraction from the glitz of The Strip, we present a few restaurant choices that are worth the detour.

Cozymel’s have 15 locations all around the US, but only one located about a mile from The Strip. This fresh mex eatery features many traditional Mexican dishes, with some seafood treats added in that just might surprise you. The real treat at Cozymel’s is the tableside Guacamole, which is made to order (you can choose ingredients, and how spicy you would like it). The chips and salsa are also of note, making Cozy’s a good choice for appetizers, and/or happy hour. We also recommend the Chicken Mole Enchiladas with walnuts.
