Mermaid at the Silverton

My new favorite bar is at my new favorite casino, The Silverton. That’s right, this new local is loving hanging out with the fish. Known for it’s gigantic aquarium and FREE mermaid performances, the overlooking bar is top notch, too. The underwater theme plays out with a jellyfish shaped lamps to go with the live jellyfish that live behind glass in back the friendly bartenders. And there’s plenty of reason to be friendly back since they’re serving $25 pitchers of mojitos and cosmos. $10 buckets of beer, and a bar menu that just won’t quit. The $4 Shrimp and Scallop ceviche is enough for 2-3 people, and Bartender Mike recommends his favoriteâ€”the Ahi Club sandwhich. Sit at your own table, or at the counter seating that looks over at the Azure show.
