Ocean's Thirteen Cast to Open CineVegas 2007 Though George Clooney is once again bypassing Vegas to hold the world premiere of his “Oceans” movies in another city (Cannes, this time). But to make up for that, he and most of the cast will be appearing in town several days later to open the 2007 edition of the CineVegas Film Festival.

“Ocean’s Thirteen” is reportedly going to open the fest on June 6 at the Brenden Theatres at the Palms. The event will be a fundraiser for producer Jerry Weintraub’s charity benefiting refugees of the Darfur crisis.

According to the Review-Journal’s Norm Clarke, the full cast has confirmed they will be in attendance, including Clooney, Brad Pitt, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle and Matt Damon.

Weintraub will also be honored with the CineVegas Vanguard Producers award that evening.

CineVegas kicks off June 6 and runs until June 16.
