Saturday, March 15:

  • The Auld Dubliner (Montelago Village at Lake Las Vegas) – Live entertainment from Celtic Storm Irish Dance Company (4pm-5pm), Finnegans Wake (5:30pm-9pm), Wild Celts (9pm-close) and wandering bagpipe players (7-10pm) with samples and giveaways from Smithwicks adn Jameson whiskey
  • Cannery Casino – Live music from U2 tribute band Rattle and Hum ($5 cover)
  • glass of guinnessFitzgeralds Casino – Triple points all day with a leprechaun lookalike contest and a green Jello eating contest from 2pm until 4pm
  • Fremont Street Experience – Free concert with Wild Celts at 6pm and Whiskey Galore at 9pm
  • Henderson Events Plaza (200 S. Water St, Henderson, NV) – 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade from 10am until noon, then the festival and carnival continues until 10pm with all proceeds benefiting The Southern Nevada Sons of Erin
  • Hennessey’s Tavern (425 Fremont St) – Live music from Finnegan’s Wake
  • Hooters Casino – “Teeny Weeny Green Bikini” pageant from 3pm until 6pm
  • The Hotel at Mt. Charleston (2 Kyle Canyon Rd) – Serving a corned beef and cabbage meal in the restaurant for $15.99 a person all day. Irish-themed drink specials all weekend in the bar including green beer, Midori Sours and Apple Martinis for $3 or Scooby Snack and Green Apple Jolly Rancher shots for $2
  • J.C. Wooloughans Irish Pub and Edge Lounge (J.W. Marriott Hotel) – “Happy Hour of the Year” party with $2 Guinness, Harp, and Smithwick’s pints from 7pm-8pm, plus entertainment by U2-tribute band Joshua Tree from 9pm until 1am with a $10 cover
  • Louis’ Fish Camp Restaurant (Town Square Shopping Center, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd S.) – Entertainment from Martin Percival School of Irish Dance Group from 11:30pm to 1am with Irish food and drink specials
  • McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon (Rio) – Modern rock station AREA 107.9 broadcasts live from noon to 4pm with live music from Celtic rockers Flogging Molly from 1pm to 3pm (autograph signing after) and the Jeremy Cornwell Band from 7pm to 10pm. Drink specials include $4 Bud Light Green Aluminums and $5 Bare Knuckle Stouts
  • McMullan’s Irish Pub (4650 W. Tropicana, next to the Orleans) – Live music by Beth Mullaney (5pm-8pm) and Acoustic Soul (9pm-1am) with Irish food and drink specials all night
  • Nine Fine Irishman (New York-New York) – Celtic Feis 2008 featuring live music from U2 cover band Elevation, Mike Bowman, Irish Kevin and Ri Ra, along with Irish drink specials ($50 cover for weekend pass)
  • O’Sheas – Irish block party with drink specials, live music, games, giveaways and green beer from noon until midnight
  • Polly Esthers (Stratosphere) – St. Polly’s Day Party featuring free cover for all lasses in green with $3 domestic beer, Bushmills and Malibu drink specials or $40 for open bar privileges

Sunday, March 16:

  • Body English (Hard Rock Hotel) – “Sunday School” with free champagne for all ladies dressed in green (Cover: $30; bottle service additional)
  • Fremont Street Experience - Free concert with Whiskey Galore at 8pm
  • Henderson Events Plaza (200 S. Water St, Henderson, NV) – 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Carnival continues from noon until 10pm with all proceeds benefiting The Southern Nevada Sons of Erin
  • The Hotel at Mt. Charleston (2 Kyle Canyon Rd) – Serving a corned beef and cabbage meal in the restaurant for $15.99 a person all day. Irish-themed drink specials all weekend in the bar including green beer, Midori Sours and Apple Martinis for $3 or Scooby Snack and Green Apple Jolly Rancher shots for $2
  • J.C. Wooloughans Irish Pub (J.W. Marriott) – Irish brunch from 11:30am until 3pm ($28 including live entertainment from U2 tribute band Joshua Tree) and “Happy Hour of the Year” party with live Irish music and drink specials all evening

  • 4949 Lounge (Santa Fe Station) – “Get Lucky” St Patrick’s Day Celebration featuring a live DJ and drink specials including free green jello shots whenever the DJ plays an Irish jig from 8pm until midnight
  • Fremont Street Experience – Free concert with Whiskey Galore at 8pm

  • McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant (335 Howard Hughes Center) – Irish drink specials including pints of green beer, Guinness, Bushmill’s and Bailey’s from 5pm until 11pm, with several Irish dishes like corned beef and Irish stew added to the $1.95 and up bar menu for the night
  • McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon (Rio) – $10 “Beer, Breakfast and Bloodies” event from 7am until 9am. Later in the day, Xtreme Radio 107.5 broadcasts live from 3pm until 7pm with free cover for all redheads. Win $500 cash in the “Make Your Own Green Bikini” contest, and enjoy entertainment from leprechauns, bagpipers, stilt walkers as well as plenty of Irish beer specials.

  • Nine Fine Irishman (New York-New York) – The day starts with the 5th annual St Patrick’s Day Parade with marching bagpipe players from Coyote Ugly to the Brooklyn Bridge starting at 10:50am. In the evening, party at Celtic Feis 2008 featuring live music from U2 cover band Elevation, Mike Bowman, Irish Kevin and Ri Ra, along with Irish drink specials ($50 cover for weekend pass)
  • O’Sheas - Irish block party with drink specials, live music, games, giveaways and green beer starting at 11am
  • Ovation Lounge (Green Valley Ranch) – Live music in the evening from Darby O’Gill and the Limey Bar Stewards
  • Penthouse Club (3525 W. Russell Road) – AdultFriendFinder.com hosts a St. Patrick’s Day Bash from 7pm to 10pm with free Jameson whiskey drinks until 9pm

I have been to Nine Fine Irishman before and it’s a blast. I’m sure it’s crazy fun on St. Patrick’s Day, especially with a U2 cover band. For all you lucky Las Vegas partiers, have fun!
