Miss America Comes to Las Vegas

Here she comes! It was announced today that the 2006 Miss America Pageant will take place in Las Vegas. The 85th Miss America winner will be the first to get crowned on the Strip instead of the Boardwalk. And in addition to a change of venue, the event has a new month too — it will be broadcast live in January (instead of September) on Country Music Television.
