Phantom of the Opera at The Venetian

Earlier this month, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera became Broadway’s longest-running hit, grossing more than $3.2 billion worldwide. Over 80 million folks have seen this musical melodrama, but I’m not one of them. Maybe I’ll hold out till the summer when Vegas gets it’s very own 90-minute version of the world famous show. Performances of the $35 million production are scheduled to begin June 4 at a custom-built theater inside The Venetian. Pricing has not yet been determined, but some say the show is likely to top out between $100 and $150 per ticket.
