Scintas To End Run at SaharaIt was a year ago that the popular family show The Scintas made the jump from their long-time home at the Rio for a new Strip location at the Sahara. The contract is due to expire May 12 and The Scintas have announced that they will be leaving resort at that time.

There’s no word on whether the recent sale of the Sahara was the reason and they also have not announced a new Vegas location for their show.

The Sahara has announced a replacement, though. The Japanese acrobatics production “Matsuri” will replace The Scintas in late May. This is the same show that played at the Riviera last year and stands to be a good draw for Asian visitors to the city.

In the meantime, The Scintas will reportedly close out their run by offering $25 tickets to locals from April 2 until the last show on May 12.
