If you have to ask “Who?” then you can consider this Vegas legend uber-retro. Wayne Newton was 15 when he started performing at the Fremont Hotel in 1959 with his brother Jerry. He got a solo gig at the Flamingo a few years after that, and stayed true to Las Vegas when all others were packing up and shipping out. Beginning June 14, Mr Las Vegas will be at the Las Vegas Hilton fresh off his success of the reality show, “The Entertainer.” He’ll be introducing Delisco, “The Entertainer,†in his show that will run through August. You’ve probably never seen a showman like this, and it’d be safe to bet that he’ll be here for many more years to come.
