Luxor Las Vegas offers not only excellent accommodation, great dining, hot nightlife and fun entertainment. It also offers a variety of things to do, including interesting exhibitions, the possibility to shop, spend time at the pool or try the beauty treatments at the Spa.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition
If you liked the movie Titanic or you are fascinated with the tragic end of the ship of dream, then Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is a great choice when you visit Las Vegas. The exhibit features numerous items taken from the Titanic, including luggage, floor tiles, a window and an unopened bottle of champagne. It also features the recreation of the Grand Staircase and the Promenade Deck (complete with the cold temperatures). The items on display offer an emotional connection with those who lost their lives when Titanic sank into the North Atlantic in April 1912. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. General admission is $27 ($20 for children of 4 to 12 years old).
BODIES…The Exhibition
BODIES…The Exhibition is an educational opportunity, showcasing real full-bodies and organs and a three-dimensional vision of the human. And by the way: these are real bodies which were dissected and preserved. Also, authentic specimens present the damages done to the body by the lack of exercise and over-eating, hence encouraging a healthy life style. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. General admission is $31 ($23 for children of 4 to 12 years old).
The Atrium
The Atrium at Luxor Las Vegas is the world’s largest and features excellent shows, incredible shopping and fine dining. It is located one level above the casino and comprises the showroom – where Carrot Top and Fantasy – can be viewed, the Food Court – and excellent shops.
The shows offer a wide variety of items to buy, ranging from jewelry to designer wear and, course, pyramid souvenirs.
