Las Vegas Logo .jpgRain or shine, the Las Vegas Farmers Market takes place year-round at several locations throughout the metro area. Winter hours (2:00-6:00 p.m.) began on November 1 for the three weekday Farmers Market sites: Gardens Park (Tues.), Bruce Trent Park (Wed.) and Centennial Hills Park (Thurs.) The market was founded six years ago by Ginger and Stephen Johnson with less than ten booths. Today, there are over 25 booths, including fresh fruits and veggies from the South West, local fresh breads and pastries, many varieties of citrus, fresh cut flowers and bedding plants. Items for sale also include furniture, jewelry and crafts by local artisans. The market sites are visited by over 5,000 people each week.
