Midway

Excalibur’s Midway is located on the lower level of the resort known as Fun Dungeon (formerly the Fantasy Faire), this space is packed with classic carnival games as well as today’s most popular arcade games, making it a popular draw for both adults and children. This is also where you’ll find the 4D rides and the Quest for Excalibur, a timed laser maze. The Fun Dungeon’s hours vary by season by generally run from mid-morning until at least 9:00 p.m.

4D Rides

Tucked amongst the bells, whistles and flashing lights in the Midway, Excalibur’s 4D rides offer an advanced technological experience. In addition to the SpongeBob offering, there are usually two other 4D rides available. Riders can pay $9.95 per ride or $12.95 to experience all three. All riders must be at least 42” tall. Castle Walk

After a vacation spent at Excalibur, you surely don’t want to leave town without the souvenirs to remind you of the time you spent in this medieval-themed hotel. Excalibur’s Castle Walk consists of several novelty shops and kiosks with unique gifts ranging from costumes and hats to sculptures of dragons and wizards.

Pool

poolExcalibur’s pool is one of the few on the Las Vegas Strip that is free and open to the general public. It isn’t as well known as many of the other pools in Las Vegas, but it definitely deserves attention. With several large pools (one with water slides, another reserved for guests 18 and older) and plenty of chairs and cabanas, there is room for everyone to find a place in the sun. Visitors will also be able to enjoy poolside dining, two hot tubs and a fire pit. Cabanas are affordable compared to prices at other pools and come with a stocked refrigerator, plasma television, towel service and ceiling fan. The only downside to Excalibur’s pool is its proximity to the parking lot, and you may be able to smell car fumes. The pool is open 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., but hours change seasonally.
