Treasure Island is an AAA Four Diamond resort on the Las Vegas Strip which offers a contemporary style in a Caribbean Themed environment. Treasure Island was opened by Mirage Resorts in 1993. Initially it featured a pirate theme with the intention to attract mainly families with children, but in 2003 the resort largely abandoned the pirate theme and started to focus more on adults.
