The Oldest Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas

For the 8th year in a row, Little Church of the West was voted the Best Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Its history dates back to 1942 when the Strip was just a small stretch of isolated highway. Betty Grable and Harry James were the first celebrity wedding at the chapel a year later, and since then Hollywood stars have conitnued to grace their altar. Notable celebs include Zsa Zsa Gabor, Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland, Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford, and more. The Little Church of the West was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 2002 when it turned 50 years old, and if you go in, you’ll be sitting on the original pews. But times do change…when it opened in 1942, there were more than 20,000 weddings in Clark County. Last year, there were 74,655.

If you would like to get married at the Little Church of the West, they have affordable packages and modern conveniences such as DVD recordings ($20 package add on) and webcam recordings ($50). You can even book your reservation online.
