LL Cool J Brings It to Sunset Station

To call LL Cool J a veteran rapper doesn’t quite do his career justice. Bursting onto the scene in 1985, during the early days of rap, LL put both himself and Def Jam Records on the map with songs like “Mama Said Knock You Out” and “Going Back To Cali.”

In addition to a successful music career, LL has established himself as a talented actor in films as diverse as Toys and his most recent, Last Holiday, with fellow rapper Queen Latifah. But he hasn’t turned his back on music.

With his just released twelfth cd, Todd Smith, LL calls on friends such as Jennifer Lopez and Jamie Foxx to keep the beats going. LL brings the music to the Sunset Station on July 14 for a 21-and-over show. Afterwards, head on over to Tao on the Strip for the official after-show party with the man himself.
