While we reported earlier this week on some early coverage of last week’s grand opening gala for Cirque du Soliel’s new production, LOVE, at The Mirage, even more reports trickled in throughout the week.
The best of them, once again, goes to Vegas insider, the one and only Robin Leach. His July 5 blog is chock full of candid photos, preview video and even some red carpet audio.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has a two reviews of the gala opening, as well, with over a dozen or so red carpet celebrity photos. There’s a great photo of Olivia Harrison, the wife of the ever-so missed Beatles’ member George Harrison, with their son Dhani — it’s scary how much he resembles his dad! Richard Abowitz covers the gala in his blog, sponsored by the L.A. Times. His report kinda shows the backside of covering such a glamourous event. I feel his pain.
The Chicago Sun-Times has a positive review of the show, as does the Miami Herald.
