Paul Oakenfold Holds CD Release Party at Late Night Empire

Very few DJs have acheived and held the level of fame in the dance community that Paul Oakenfold has. Heck, you don’t even have to say his first name — his last name is all the id you need. With his Perfecto Records label, Oakenfold has not only put out his own best-selling mix cds, but has produced countless other DJs for the label.

His newest cd, A Lively Mind, features the hit single “Faster Kill Pussycat” with actress Brittany Murphy on vocals. Oakenfold is hosting the official cd release party at Late Night Empire on July 8. Also on the bill is special guest Kenneth Thomas, who has also recorded for Perfecto.

No reason to miss this, since the party doesn’t even start until 3 a.m.
