Forty years ago, childhood friends Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker formed the genesis of the Scorpions. But it wasn’t until the 80s that the German band hit their stride and achieved worldwide fame. From the first hit single, “Rock You Like A Hurricane,” the band was all about the rock. Other hits followed, including “Blackout,” “The Zoo” and the band’s ode to the destruction of the Berlin Wall, “Winds of Change.”
Twenty years later, the band is still rocking out and will be bringing their hits to The Joint on July 1. Get ready to bang your head!
